One of my oldest and best friends in the whole world has been undergoing triple-bypass surgery in Thousand Oaks, CA for about an hour-and-a-half now. If you've got a quick prayer, say one now for Norm. He doesn't smoke, he's ex-LAPD and he grew up in Brooklyn, just a great guy. I flew out to visit him and his wife and two sons last month and he looked perfectly healthy. Talk about putting things in perspective.
