very interesting day at the "cath lab".
wheeled me in at 2:00 and the halls were filled with the many essences of cigars wafting around me and all the nurses and patients.
my joke was to post that they smelled smoke and evacuated the hospital, but not true.
someone had just rolled into emergency with a massive heart attack and they needed the room. since they had not made the incison to get into my artery, they wheeled me back to my room for 3 hours. long enough of course to let the valium and other meds to wear off.
when they wheeled me back into the room, i found out the emergency patient was alive and in recovery. i'll stop in next week and demand some really good cigars,
the upshot is they did find what i expected, several blockages, so we are semi scheduled for by-pass (not the same as box-pass) tues. sunday and monday being football days.
my heart, which my dr refers to as "the pump" is in excellent condition from the work outs over the last 15 years, so i will have to skip my cigars tues, but i'm sure on the way to rehab on wed, i can find an exit and enjoy dare i say it, yes i dare, a cuban monte #5.
i thank you one and all for the thoughts and the cigars lit for me.
