I haven't posted in a year and a half. When I left it was mainly because every thread was about "dog rockets", and if you happened to like one of them you were jumped on by one and all as having no taste (even though some of the attackers probably smoked and liked them, but wanted to fit in). You had to smoke the BIG names everyone approved of here. Having only been here six months and being new to cigars I felt I would never fit in.
I have been checikig in the last few months (and have bid all along) and am glad to see that attitude has changed. However I am amazed at the personal attacks, foul language and lack of respect for one another(and C-bid). At first I blamed C-bid, but then I realized they should not have to police the playground 24-7 since we are all adults.
I think the old carpenters rule of "measure twice, cut once" could do this forum some good. But instead "think twice, type once".
There are a lot of good people here. I would hate to see this place shut down like some others.
