In honor of Veteran's Day (maybe more suited towards Memorial Day though) and our active US Military, I want to offer this link.

It is graphic...

It does show the terrorist attack and aftermath on the WTC...

It very well may have been linked here before, or something similar...

It may have been viewed are deleted by you in the past in an email...

But I found it and its words especially befitting a National Holiday honoring the people that have given us our liberties and our security. It doesn't show any Veteran's per se, but you can sense it.

Please read the words of Samuel Adams and others that are flashed on the screen.

Never forget and always be thankful...

Marla

Well, I would say that this link is very appropriate for this day. It reminds all of us of the realism of the dangers in the world and the job the military must do. I had already retired from active duty by 9/11.

I remember waking up at 10am by a call from my brother who told me to turn the TV on. Pushing that button on the remote started the most horrible day of my life.

It is so hard for a retired military person when something like that happens. I walked around for days opening closet doors, waiting for the phone to ring. I think my military mind was searching for my combat gear and a call to assemble.

But, I had to sit that one out. It hurt, I wanted to be unleashed on the people or animals that did it.

May God bless those in harms way tonight. Also, may God bless their families who are worried. Give them strength to face another day without them.

Marla,

Thank you. That was very touching. I saw images that I had never seen before.
