I had to leave my car at work and swim home,LOL. I don't know why I didn't drive my truck this morning. Well, that's not true. I asked the wife if she thought we should take the truck today and she said no. So being the well trained husband that I am, we took the car. DAMN!

For some reason I knew these were going to be brutal storms so I called in this morning and said I was just going to work from home (ah, the beauty of a flexible vocation).

Good thing too. With my 30 mile commute I'd definitely have a) spent hours & hours tied up on the freeways b) swamped out my vehicle like the hundreds of others today c) had to spend the night sleeping in my lab downtown and/or d) drown :(

Glad to hear you're okay Barry and I hope all you other East Texas folk are staying dry.

Stay dry Bill and Barry. It's pretty dry here in San Antonio...
