Since CB offers coffee here ... you may want to post your email addy for those websites ... although I've seen many URL's posted here before, and they don't seem to mind.

... when you do, I have a really good one for you, and he also frequents the forums here!

I store my beans is air-tight ceramic (or anything airtight) canisters ... (thats all you really need to do), but some people put them in the freezer.

I don't recommend the latter (but I do it), as they can get freezer burn, and also pick up odors ...

never ever put your beans in the freezer or fridge. the humidity changes cause the oils to extract from the beans and ultimately cause them to degrade in flavor and character. Try roasting your own beans. you can buy them green and roast them in an air popcorn popper that you can pick up from a thrift store for about $4. If you roast your own beans, you'll know the difference between stale and fresh beans, and the difference is remarkable. If you want more info about just how easy this is to do (fresh roasted beans make killer XMAS gifts), email me at
dschulman01atcomcastdotnet and I'll be glad to give you more details.

One of my favorite brands is Lion Coffee. I got use to drinking it while stationed in Hawaii. It's roasted in Hawaii. They sell Kona blends as well as 100% Kona in a variety of flavors and roasts. The 100% kona is a bit pricey but is well worth it if you truly love coffee. lioncoffee.com

Also the Bad Ass Coffee Company badasscoffee.com is another brand that specializes in Kona coffee.
