Iraq under US lead control has come farther in 6 months than Germany did in 7 years or Japan did in 9 years following WWII. Military deaths from fanatic Nazi's, Japanese and their supporters numbered in the thousands and lasted for over 3.5 years after victory was declared.

It took the US over 4 months to clear away the twin tower debris, let alone attempt to build something else in its place.

Think for a moment! If everyone in the City of New York went on a rampage and looted every store, museum, office building, hospital and home. Stole everything that had any value at all such as light fixtures, water pipes, power lines, telephone cords, copper tubing or line wherever it was found, and damaged or destroyed everything it was connected to.

How long would it take for non-english speaking asian soldiers to repair everything back to order and how much cooperation do think they would get?

How much would it cost? Now add in the fact that they are also responsible for accidently killing some of your relatives during their attempt to help you.

Take in to account that they are creating a new form of government that no one is used to and that changes the way you have been raised your entire life.

Take in to account that the other english speaking countries of the world are against the new government that is being established.

Take into account that almost every democratic leader in the House and Senate has fought President Bush on just about every aspect of his handling of this countries War and reconstruction and continues to claim what a failure this conflict has been.

Taking everything into consideration, even the unfortunate loss of our sons and daughters in this conflict, do you think anyone else in the world could have accomplished as much as the United States and the Bush administration in so short a period of time?

The oil companies drilling in the last pristine areas of Alaska and other industries seem to be happy now that dubya has relaxed and in some cases eliminated pollution regulations. X

I would rather pay for all that.... Than Monica Lewinski's dry cleaning bill. I'm military so I have a different viewpoint. But not all military share my view. And I love that. Rickamaven or anybody else can disagree and vote for somebody else and I'll still shake their hand and give them a smoke. I wouldn't have it any other way. I think this thing is a little long and I can't vouch for all the info, but it has the ring of truth. I'm not trying to change anybodys opinion. Because it won't happen. No big deal. Nobody's going to change mine. I love flexing my Freedom muscle. Or maybee I'm just ornery... heheh

Hey ajeroth,
We agree on that. If your ever in Arkansas, look me up. We'll have a smoke, maybe a couple of pints, and try and solve the worlds problems. As far as the tab being picked up by the taxpayers, There are many things that money could be used for at home, I just hope rebuilding Iraq Should come from loans, to be paid back by Iraqis, once their economy is stable. I also think that the deficit is getting scary. I am one person who voted for Bush, that will not do it again, As I am conservative and don't like his, or this congresses spending habits.

P.S. Who would have thought Republicans, would have liberal spending habits.

The best way to silent the liberal noise pollution is to squelch it with facts.
True, I don't really know which (if any)of these items is acurate. But it seems that at least some of them probably are.
And if that's the case, and the facts are getting hidden behind the agenda of socialistic rags like the NY Times and affiliates, then shame on them.

Likewise, although to a lesser degree, shame on the Bush administration for not doing a better job of publicizing these items.

Too many American lives have been lost to not focus on the positives, if for nothing other than to justify the mission.

The liberal left will argue that GWB is in bed with the Major Oil companies and continue to pander to their interest groups like before! They are good at inflating an issue to giganitc proportions and then coming with another useless counter on another issue to muddy the water!

Homebrew I'll take you up on that beer if I'm ever in Arkansas. I'm more conservative than liberal as well. I think we need to take care of our problems here on the home front as well. I don't like to see Sally Struthers on those infomercials shaking her voice at me asking for moneny for kids in another country, when kids here or even the homeless aren't being fed. I will vote for Bush this year. I think he's done a fine job and doesn't get enough credit. As far as it being a bad on his administration for not making his accomplisments more known, if they did they'd slam Bush for tooting his own horn.
