Guys, everyone is getting really tacky these days. This forum is starting to pay for our personal jabs, ill tempers, etc. Lets stop this thing NOW!
How many BOTL have to leave b/c it has gotten so nasty on the boards? We all have opinions and a right to have them, so lets all stop trying to force them on one another. I enjoy being able to converse with all of you in a brotherly/civil way....NOW STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Political Punditry and debate on this board isn't going to change people's votes or opinions. Or let me put is this way. Publish a link to a post on this board that sincerely made you change your vote from a republican to a democrat or visa versa and I just might send you a good stick.

Hmmmm that's a thought. I could sell my vote for cigars. Anyone wishing to sponsor my vote can start bidding in 4 catagories on my presidential, gubernatorial, senatorial and congressional seletions. Whoever bids the best quality cigars to be sent to me between now and the 2004 elections will determine my vote. (Isn't this just a microcosm of the lobbying process that is so much a part of our fine government)

Elaborating on this idea, perhaps I should announce a new presidential candidacy for the Leaf Party.... Instead of one man one vote as democracy is supposed to work in theory or one big check one vote as it actually works today.. I'm going to campaign for causes espoused by anyone who can fill my humidor with the best cigars. Vote Today!!!!! Support Leaf Party candidates like me with your Opuses, your PAMs, your Ashton VSGs and the like and together we will work hard to lift the embargo and bring ISOM stogies into your life. Do it for America and your fellow BOTL and SOTL today!!!
