What is going on with all this? I read one report that says Spurrier resigned. Then just 30 mins later another report debunked the other one. Its all very confusing.

Just leave already Spurrier.... take that D@#N Fun N Gun and never come back!

Just my .02

according to espn.com, he resigned but denied it after the team announced it cause he didn't think all the details were worked out yet. "miscommunication"

Steve Spurrier, the Ol Ball Coach...what a putz. If he indeed is resigning, which is his whiney nature, I win a bet. The bet was that he couldnt hack it in the NFL and he would quit because he couldnt win HIS WAY. He has no clue what it takes to win in the NFL, didn't as a player and obviously not as a coach. Take your sand lot game and take it where it might make you a whiner...er I mean winner, like maybe a Div. II school. No concept of a running game, no concept of pass protection. His philosophy, "every body go long".

Good riddance to him.

I live in the Redskin market. Listening to the radio today as I smoked, it was said he resigned from the comfort of a golf course in Fla. What a jerkoff! The 'skins have talent. A good coach will probably do pretty well them next year.

I've been a Skins fan since the early 70s. I thought the Joe Gibbs days were the glory days. It'll be a long time before they see teams like those again...
