Wow...This place has really been hopping lately!...LOL...Where IS everyone?...I got a question...Seriously...I'm just curious...Is there ONE single person that owns CI?...or is it owned my a corporation?....Who is the mystery CEO, if any?...Inquiring minds want to know..I know it may be a silly question to some, but I want to know!....and what kind of cigars does he/she smoke (if any)?...How frequently, etc?...Introduce yourself to the group...Kind of like how Carlos (or Carlito to his friends) occasionally does on his site, Gael on his site, Lew does on his site, Dan at CW, etc etc...(the list goes on)...Better yet, post a pic!...Thanks...Keith

OK, OK, enough already. It's me (not really). I've got to come clean now (I'm lying). I own this site and several others (I'm a pauper). I frequent these boards to mingle with the commoners (I have no friends). Smoking is a great way to meet new people (it hides my natural stench). I've been enjoying fine cigars for many years now (my mother doesn't let me smoke). So don't consider me as simply "Tailgater" (Simple Tailgator is more like it), but rather as a friendly presence to keep things lively within this internet site that I own (and Al Gore invented).

Thanks for asking. I also have been very curious. I'd be very surprised if this site isn't co-owned by a consortium of owners, though run by one. But who knows? At this scale much of the cigar business is pretty inbred among friends and family.

My comments above were not printed in their entirety. That, I understand and accept is at the discretion of the owner of the board. The gist of the comments, without mentioning names,(I did) which were deleted in the posting, was that there is merchandise available on this site from the various wholesale arms of other well known web vendors.
