Theatrical release: May 11, 1931.

M was filmed in Berlin and was released in 1931 ... it
was based on a true story about a killer in Dusseldorf, Germany ... I've never seenit, but it is said to be "...a dazzling film that, seven decades on, remains as innovative as it is unsettling..."

I just might rent and watch it ...

Ther are lots of old movies that will never die. I just turned my girlfriend onto 'Casablanca' last month, she had never seen it.

I love "M". Great piece of filmaking. A simple plot, yet it is able to capture so much raw emotion in it due to the acting. I must get this one on DVD.
