Paul O'Neal had some very interesting things to say about President Bush. He confirmed my sentiments about the current administration. X

Missed 60 Minutes, but heard about it on the radio. Bad news if true.

The First Amendment gurantees Paul O'Neil the right to say anything in print. Consider the source...a disgruntled former employee isn't the best best place to look for the truth about Dubya.

Who cares if Bush did start plans to invade Iraq only a few months after he took office? The whole world knew Saddam needed to be taken out. "The Plan" was not implemented then. Hello! It took a few years. They gathered more data and support.

Hell, even you Dem lovin' lefties had Clinton in office with the information to take Saddam out, but he was too chicken **** do act.

Go GW!!

Check this out:
http://www.cnn.com/US/9812/16/clinton.iraq.speech/

"The best way to end that threat once and for all is with a new Iraqi government -- a government ready to live in peace with its neighbors, a government that respects the rights of its people," Clinton said.

"Clinton Fires Spit Balls at Iraq"

BFD, Clinton did not lean on Saddam enough. He let him get away with murder... literally

x

now you see the bush fanaticism in posting.

it is the S factor in action.

anything and everything bad for this country that happened was clinton's fault, 9/11, the economy, and the 500 dead soldiers in iraq. not since the 30's have i seen such pathological devotion to one man.

either fdr or hitler, take your pick.

Let me clue you in... We have contingency plans to invade, Iraq, Syria, Libia, China, North Korea, etc... You make plans, you have plans, it doesn't mean you actually "plan" to use them. That's what the military does, if they didn't, they wouldn't be doing their jobs. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail...

And on the contrary, there are many here with such disdain and single minded hatred for the president (Maven...) that regardless of what act he took, regardless of how egalitarian, how selfless, how noble the deed, it would be viewed as subversion, it would be "suspect", self serving, etc... It's childish to view one side of the coin while "completely" ignoring the other... (IMO)

So do you think that it's a bad thing that Libya and North Korea are coming to the table since the capture of Saddam?

Millitant dictators don't understand love-ins. They understand only one thing... POWER!

Also, it should not surprise anyone that Dubya planned to invade Iraq. Anyone remember the "Axis of Evil" speech? That came pretty early in his presidency.

The fact is, his plan is working and it's going to continue to work. Saddam trucked his WMDs to Syria and we'll prove that before long. The economy is well on the road to recovery. Yes, our status in the world has taken a hit, but when WE wipe out Al Quaida and win the war on terror and make the world a safer place, our status as the freedom fighters of the world will be restored. Someone has to do the dirty work and since Pearl Harbor, it's been us.
