Hey ya'll! First of all, I would like to apologize. We seem to have gotten off on the wrong foot. Thank you all for your help with the aromatic problem. I have since then gotten over the Acid kick and found much finer things. I was just wondering, have any of you tried the La Gloria Cubana Wavell Maduro? I have read great things about it, but I was just wondering about the opinions of some seasoned smokers to help me before I spent the money on it. Around here, cigars get REALLY overpriced for the overhead of the smaller shop that is the only one in a 100 mile radius of me. Thank you all for your help and for not completly killing me for that first post. Have a great night!

The first cigar I ever smoked was a La Gloria Cubana Corona Gorda(6X52 EMS) in honor of the birth of my son. I've never had a bad one yet and still count it as my favorite brand of cigars. They are reasonbly priced also! I think I'll go smoke one now. Good luck!

LaGloria's are just great cigars and you can't go wrong with them! I really like the wavell, it will stack up to any robusto at any price! In your language, LaGloria is the Eric Clapton of cigars! Charlie

Joey, the LGC Series R #4 seems to be a mainstay on the auction block and I highly recommend them. Don't see the wavell up for bid much. I would suggest being patient and getting a 5pack of some LGC's here before shelling out retail.

Wavell Maduro are a mainstay in my humidor(s). Buy them by the box. Buy them, pet them, smoke them, LOVE them.

I've had one from a sampler and really enjoyed it. I plan to buy a box in the future. I'd say say it's probably the best cigar for the price, from my somewhat limited experience. You should be able to find them for $2.50 - $3.00 each, if you buy them by the box. I have not seem them on Cbid in the three months that I've been here.

try the charlemagnes too. The lgc's are kept in my humidor at work, at home and in the car. Resonably priced always great tasting. Got a couple boxes of wavells, series r's and charlies. Spend the cash and enjoy

LGC Wavell is a wonderful stick, Maduro or not. The Serie R #4, 5 , 6 and now the #7 are the best thing since sex was invented. Without a dought the best buy for the money of any brand. Watch the #6 tho, the things nearly an inch in diameter at a 60 gauge, it's my favorite stick but you got to have a free hand to hold it. It's too thick to just hold in your teeth for the time it takes to smoke it.
