The Vice President of Operations came up to me this morning, and told me that when he reconciled the end of month for December ... the books balanced 'to the penny'.

Were talking somewhere in the ballpark of $300,000 worth of orders that were shipped out ... and the Materials Manager told me that that was the first time that has happened since he started working there. Not bad, considering that I have only been with the company since the beginning of September ...

I guess being as 'anal retentive' as I can be at times, does have its rewards ... ;^)

Congratulations Slim.

Show your coworkers the photo of you in the LOD outfit, then they'll stay in line like we do here.

Oh, and sketcha ... to answer your question (now that I'm home, and figured it out) ...

... I'm celebrating with and Ashton VSG Torpedo (or Belicoso No.1, don't know which one), that gorob23 gifted to me a few days ago ...

Cograts Slim. I like hearing stories that aren't about losing jobs. There's been too much of THAT lately.

How did you get to go to Tahoe after just starting a new job? Now that is sweet!

It was a timseshare commitment that was already arranged before I started the job ... so they knew ahead of time that I was taking that time off.

... I had the other one to Playa del Carmen set up before I started work too, and I was hired the day before I left ... and they held the job for me until I got back from it.

I heard that they had interviewed around 200 people for the position, so I guess I was the one that they really wanted ... ;^)
