extraterrestrial.

search google for crop circles. forget the BS by the people trying to sell books, dvd's and anything else. just look at the pictures. someone is communicating with us.

if you found a lost tribe somewhere in some jungle, how would you convey something to them without scarring them. you might draw a picture in the dirt.

if you see they have a fire, you might draw a picture of a fire and then perhaps slowly let them see a lighter and maybe build a little fire so as not to scare them. you might draw a face in the dirt and point at them and then draw another face and point at yourself. remember these are people that have stayed the way they were for a million years, improving their standard of living a little bit, but they still can't start a fire without twirling a stick on another stick or banging rocks together to get a spark. that has taken them a million years. they think the banging of rocks to build a fire is a break through over the twirling a stick.

if other planets developed life a million years before us, they might have to draw pictures in the sand, that we call crop circles.

a good site for photos of crop cirles with someone's interpetation of what they might mean

Author Steve Quayle (stevequayle.com) related information about giants and UFO bases (on Coast to Coast AM last night), both of which he said are currently present on or off the Solomon Islands in the Pacific. One group of these giants, which are reported to be 10-12 ft. tall, are similar to Sasquatch and have a detectable odor about them he reported.

Quayle cited the work of Marius Boirayon who has catalogued his findings on his website The Giants of Solomon Islands. Boirayon writes of his extensive interviews with Island residents who claim to have repeatedly seen and interacted with these beings. He also presents a map and information about hidden UFO bases in the area.

The UFO Bases are underwater, Quayle said, and have subterranean entrances. The inhabitants of the craft are called "dragon snakes" by the locals, and Quayle surmised they may be reptilian in appearance. He also suggested that these UFO occupants are using the giants as test subjects for DNA and breeding experiments.

[Note: no mention of any crop circles on the island, but that could have just been an indadvertant omission.]

Ther are no aliens on this planet.

First, if aliens followed similiarlaws of biology, chemistry, and physics and us humans, then it would very difficult, probably impossible, for any lifeform to travel that far from another planet that would be favorable to generate life.

The closet alien on this planet is Michael Jackson. Crop circles started off as a prank. If aliens are so smart to defy the laws of physics and travel light years from their planet just to come to earth, do you think all they would do is draw designs on crops as a form of communication? And who are we to interpret these designs, they are ten times smarter then us so it would be pointless to do it. Why couldn't the aliens just pick up a pad and paper, or get controol of our TV broadcast and tell everyone, "We're here! Bring us all you virgin women and beer or suffer the consequence." It seems funny to me Rick, that you don't believe in God, but you will believe in aliens.

Choner, you are missing the aliens' point. They only want to communicate with Rick, so it is necessary to use crop circles so no one else will get the message.

this past summer, crop circles appeared in a field here in the Bay Area ... people came from EVERYWHERE to lay in the circles and "feel the energy" ... TV trucks lined the side of the little country road and the talking heads were interviewing people who were communicating with the aliens ...

After a couple of weeks of non-stop visitors to the site, it was learned that the circles were the result of a group of high school kids with time on their hands and the desire to create a stir ... there was some debate as to whether charges should be brought agains the kids, but no one could figure out exactly what they should be charged with ...

The people who came to "feel the energy" should be charged with stupidity.

"Signs" was a pretty good flick. I watched in my home theater (realistic sound, kinda gnarly) when I was alone, sick with the flu and out of it and I actually got a little scared. Flu drugs are good!

Hey..... No matter what, let's just hope these crop circles don't turn up in the tobacco fields of Cuba, Nicaragua, Honduras, Brazil or the Dominican Republic.

When that happens, its time for us CBidders to begin engaging in some interstellar alien ass whooping!!!

Are you with me??

I saw a special a couple of years back on crop circles. The "beings" responsible for about 90% of all the crop circles showed how they prepared the design. How they did the calculations on how many actual steps it would take based on the tools used. Which by the way were pieces of wood in different lengths with a rope handle about 3 feet long. They then entered the fields at night and proceeded to step on the wood while holding the rope to smash down the crops to make the design for that evening. All of this was filmed. Took them about 3 hours to do this enormous and intracate design.

And no, they weren't aliens. Just a group of engineers that wanted to stir up some shiznit.

"if aliens followed similiarlaws of biology, chemistry, and physics" big if. before the 4 minute mile, that's 15 mph, try it on a tread mill and you will fly off the back. but a few have done this impossible feet (pun intended), but we can't all do this.

so here we have a major variance in homosapiens. i was going to say homosexuals just to get 65gtoman going off, but i thought better of it.

we are carbon based and require food. plants make their own food. who knows what could possibly have developed on a planet that had helium instead of oxygen.

what kind of propulsion system could they use? maybe star-trek transporters. maybe something travels faster then the speed of light, remember their are sounds we can't hear, dogs can, and there are xrays we can't see, even though we use them.

maybe they prefer women with experience rather then virgens and ale instead of beer.

i never said i don't believe in god. i said the idea of a god held no interest to me. again, big difference.

i believe your belief in your god does not allow the
existance of something not in your bible.

religeons do evolve and if aliens are real, the parts in the bible that deal with angels and the craft that someone, (ezekiel?) saw with the flaming wheels, will be part of "god's plan"

(wow!! how did rick ever hear of ezekiel?)

Rick, here is my whacked out theory/hypothesis regarding "aliens". When I was in college, a professor actually gave us the topic "Aliens: fact or fiction" to write about. In general, here is what I said. I'm gonna give you the "executive summary" version. Give me your feedback.

My whacked out idea is based on the following assumptions:

1. While it is mathematically probable that life does exist on other planets/systems/etc, that life will not exist in a form that we are familiar with. Just as our physical makeup is not suitable for living on other planets, theirs will not be suitable for ours. Therefore, I dont think we are being visited. If life does exist, I think the odds are low that (a) they will care to travel (b) will have the means to travel (c) find us (d) have any desire to communicate with us.

2. The human species is more resilient than we give ourselves credit for. We arent going to "blow ourselves up" like some people think. Therefore, I think we will survive for an extremely long time and eventually evolve into a different species. The humans of today will become the early cromagnons of the past.

With the above thoughts in mind, here is what I think. A looooooooooooooong time from now (thousands and thousands of years), humans will eventually crack time travel. As a result, they will attempt to travel back in time to document all history and the genetic makeup of all organisms past & present. They will attempt to solve all the mysteries that we currently ponder. They will also find that the cure for future diseases can be treated with items from the past. If people really are seeing "UFOs" (I've never seen one before, so I'm skeptical) what they are really seeing is us from the future.

As for crop circles, I think they are a hoax perpetrated by a group of engineers and/or mathematicians.

not wacked out at all. we are supposed to use our imagination.

everyone seems to think the wheel was one of the great inventions. perhaps it was. whoever imagined and devised the stationary axle made the wheel work.

as far as crop circles, the more i read about them, the more i believe hoaxers couldn't make all of them.

radiation measured on the ground, stalks bent without breaking, circles appearing in one night that are so complicated it would take hoaxers weeks to make.

not a complete sentence, but you get the idea and who said i have to use complete sentences.

Rick, it's OK if you use incomplete sentences as long as none of them ends in a preposition ...

Rick,

Comparing a 4 minute mile and light years is ridiculous. The varience in homosapiens you are talking about is non-existent when you compare that to cosmic terms. By the way, I did a 6 minute mile.

Plants do make their own energy, but they still need sun, water, and nutrients. They are not independent. Helium is too inert, so it would not be a good candidate for using in living system.

Under the laws of physics, nothing can travel the speed of light except light, therefore nothing can travel faster. I know there are tons, of things we can't hear or see, but when you are talking about light years and cosmic legths, they dwarf any comparison to high frequency sound waves or x-rays.

There is probably a planet somewhere in this vast universe that has life, but it is impossible for them to be able to travel that far given the laws of physic and chemistry of life.

And Virgins are the top choice in this universe.

And one more thing, I don't believe in God. I'm atheist. I know my physics, chemistry, and especially my molecular biology, that's what my beliefs are based on.

Funny thing:
The better camcorders get, the less home movies of UFOs are filmed.

Are we to believe that beings from another time and/or galaxy has traveled a bazillion light years to earth, and they land on a farm in Nebraska rather than in NYC or Tokyo?

I heard that NBC is going to make that the new reality TV show next fall. It will be called, "Theres an alien living in my wheat field." It will detail the crazy antics of an alien making crop circles in a frustrated farmer's field. Check your local listings for time and channel.

Anna Nicole Smith stars as the alien. She lays on the ground and rolls around to make the crop circles.

One thing that is certain, is that the laws of physics, mathmatics and chemistry apply throughout the cosmos. 2 molecules of hydrogen and 1 of oxygen will always make water; etc. If some entity is capable of these feats, it's through the application of those laws and perhaps some we haven't discovered yet. Sorry Rick, there is no magic.
