Staking out a well-known rowdy bar for DUI violations, as all the patrons left and were driving off at closing time, the police officer noticed one fellow stumble out, trip on the curb and try his keys in numerous cars
before finding his own. The guy then sat in the front seat and began
fumbling with his keys attempting to start the ignition.
He finally succeeded in starting the car and as he pulled into the
street, the police officer stopped him. He read him his rights and then
administered the breathalyzer test. Much to the officer's surprise, the test
results showed a reading of 0.0.
Puzzled, the officer demanded to know how that could possibly be.
With a smug look on his face, the driver replied, "I'm the designated
decoy tonight."
