This won't mean much to a lot of you, but it was a sad day to see Ann Miller passing. One of the best tap dancers I've ever seen. Rumored she could dance with up to 500 taps per minute. Don't doubt it. I'm dating myself but she was a great one. Just another indication that we're all getting older...................

Sad indeed. What a talent. It seemed she played the second female in every MGM musical ever made, and she could outdance all the firsts. I hadn't heard until I read your post. Thanks, and R.I.P.

Like eleltea, I hadn't heard until I saw your post but remember her well ... my second surprise in seeing this thread is no response yet from Rickamaven, X or Charlie ... I'd bet $$ that they remember her quite well too ...

we lost a great hoofer. a real tap dancer. no flash dancing. legs longer then her entire body.

now about this "I'm dating myself" you need to close the porn sites and get out more often.

Rick, then you probably remember she was not the nicest of people in Hollywood. She had reputation on being a BeAuch.

I do agree that she had incredible legs and could tap all night in her hay-day.

She was a very talented individual.
