Anybody know what we're looking at? Why are the guys on the ground being gunned downed? I don't have sound and couldn't make out the image real well.

well dj... in the full length footage (This is just a short version of) the pick-up truck over to the far right pulls up and the soldier/terrorist was unloading and burying a RPG Rocket Propelled Grenade... one of many that have been used against American Service members since the OIF war ended... the video footage is through the Helocopter pilots gun camera attached to his helmet... they are staking out some Iraqi Resistance fighters at night... and the IRF's don't even know they're there...

this footage went Public IE Internet.. and the Liberals are screaming from the top of their Lungs about how wrong it is... well whats American Losses to date??? I think this Stakeout Saved allot of Lives!!!!

usa hog can you post the link for the full version of that video please - and thank you!

as for those that think what went on in that video is wrong - I think you need to find another place to live - maybe Iraq where you can see first hand what the people that that gunner in that helicopter took out are doing to our service men and women over there, not to mention innocent Iraqi's. An RPG is not a TOY, it is a weapon of destruction that KILLS people - OUR PEOPLE! As usa hog said - by doing what we did in that video SAVED LIVES! War is not pretty any way you slice it, but to ensure our safety we need to have wars. Remember terrorists like Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein caused this war by implementing 9/11. I could care less if any WMD's are found in Iraq, we stopped a terrorist dictator and that is all that matters. I personally would like to see a lot more of these videos and make things a little safer for those over there who are protecting us by risking and giving up their lives for our freedom, our safety! My prayers are with all those that are over in Iraq and in Afghanistan and I am proud of each and every one of those military personnel, whether they are on the ground, in the air, or at sea that are ensuring not only our safety but the safety of everyone!

I think it's a SHAME that these apparent Peaceful Iraqi FARMERS were OBVIOUSLY planting a harmless crop of RPGmelons! And along comes some American War Criminal (not that this reflects on my opinion of OUR BOYS) and blows them up for the simple practice of planting RPGmelons as is no doubt traditionally done there. Probably on the direct orders of Bush no doubt!
Even if those HAD been WEAPONS, they hadn't been read their rights, and we cant act as though we're at war anymore can we? And they may have LOOKED like Rocket Propelled Grenades, but unless they dug them up, fitted them into a launcher, and made sure they not only fired, but ACTUALLY WERE CAPABLE of destroying an American armored vehicle, HOW DID BUSH KNOW THEY WERE GUILTY, BEFORE HE PERSONNALY ORDERED THEIR DEATHS. Shame on BUSH!....

.......where.... where am I?!?!?!?! I must've been having a liberal moment!

Liz, I do not have the link to the whole footage.. clips of this has been running on some news stations and raising all kinds of hell.... I do have allot of gun camera footage not made for TV viewing though...

there is also a military website that I frequent that has allot of footage such as this... but the site is not accessable from any computer other then DOD's

usa hog,

do you know which news stations have been showing it? We have been looking over the stations and didn't see anything. Guess I'll just have to put on the news as soon as I get up in the am. Also we are going to try to hook up a tv in the computer room so we can have the news on and still be at our computers (nope I'm not an internet addict lol)

Great link Russ.... I got to see footage like that from the Hunter and Predator unmanned vehicles, Live. I stood there and the Air Boss sees it and says allright lets go get it. And they did. The Best display of Air superiority I have ever seen.
