Week 17 was about 4 weeks ago. I have not seen cigars from:

DrMaddVibe
PerdomoSeleciones
flyfishtn
gtwoody X2
Iam.steve X2
JamesConnors
sadpygmy

THL X2
What's the story fellas? I'm sure there are other winners in the same boat! Or is it just me?

Basically it's because I'm a lazy ****. You know when I took 2nd one week I didn't get all of the cigars that were supposed to come to me either. Did I cry? Well... er...yes, but not in public. And many that I did get were not of what anyone would call 1st quality. Some guys were very generous and shipped a quality product, others just dumped their rockets and damaged cigars. Needless to say, my enthusiasm was damped. The income didn't come close to the outgo.
You will receive a package of quality from me along with an apology for being so late.

Thank you Sir! I appreciate your speaking up. Perhaps this will initiate a flurry of packages being mailed to all the winners.

I just ordered a bunch of mailers from the USPS. When they arrive my debts will be paid with a bonus for pain and mental suffering. Bear with me.

LOL! I never kept track of whether I received all the sticks that was owed to me. I know I sent out my dues though.

There was no standard for quality of sticks, so maybe next year we can implement a new rule. I got one stick that was a dog rocket. It was not in a zip-lock bag but rather it was placed in between two sleeves of cardboard. The package was sent by regular 6-7 day USPS. I opened up the package and started laughing. But there were many BOTL that sent decent and above par sticks.

I owe you one Choner!!

I took second like in week 4, and only got about half of what was owed. But I guess I really can't bitch to much since I know I owe more smokes and this e-mail is making my lazy ass feel guilty so they will be going out post haste. My inventory was pretty low there for a while but now I have no excuses. Id ask for the people I owe to come forward but knowing all you guys 3789836 of you would say I owe them smokes...HA!

I don't see my name should it be there? I am also a lazy azz and told myself I would send out at the half point and season end. Well they both came and went.

Here is the deal. I have just received a box of AF Dbl Chat SGs. Everyone I owe gars to will receive one of these.

I won week 16 and have received 6 packages out of maybe 16. I did not track my other 2 wins(places).

I came in third twice, and finished first once.
Should get smokes from 29 folks, have only received smokes from half that (14.5?)
Anyhow, I know the real names of the folks who sent smokes (return addy), but can't necessarily compare that to the list of names using our cbid usernames.

Either way, if anyone reads this and is late sending, all will be forgiven once received since late is definatley better than never.

For the record, earlier in the season I too was quite tardy in my efforts to send smokes to the winners, so I know how it can be.

And for those who sent me smokes already, a Huge "Thank You". Many (most) packages exceeded expectations.

though i was in this last year, and yes i was tardy on mailing smokes out too,i applaud you guys for making good on your deals. For those who want to just "blow it off"....remember we have long memories.(i.e. JoJo). sorry that a winner had to "out" the deliquants but sometimes it help shows who really was in it for "just the winnings",IMO.

next year steves will require a box of decent cigars from each participent prior to the first bet. any one that sends crap will be excluded. i have sent some dog rockets, but always with decent cigars.

for toby's picks, i received all good cigars from the losers.

upon receipt of a box of cigars from each participant, he will distribute the winners cigars insuring favorable distibution of different cigars. with 17 games and 20 - 25 cigars per box, he can take his more then fair cut for all the work, and double some of the packages he mails.

of course he will then be f'd for the shipping costs, so he will just keep all the cigars and move to an unknown location until he runs out of cigars.

then like pete rose, he will write a book, confess his sins, and try to start a new pool.

Look, if I could wave a wand and have Joe Postman deliver the box faster I would. Really.

You'll get the package when you get it.

DMV, relax man. We are copacetic! There are still lots of guys MIA. Not just on my list either! Are you telling me they should not be taken to task?

You could get more ants with honey. While I certinly understand why you're doing what you're doing, I don't agree with your methods.

You could've achieved the very same methods via private emails, but instead you chose to go a much more public route. While I'll stand by my rather flimsy excuse of getting caught up in Life, job, holidays, vacation I will honor my commitments. If AFTER no coorespondence then fire away any way you choose, but I don't think you're handling it very well.

You'll get your package when you get it. Go bug the USPS!

I am almost 100 % sure I send out all of my cigars to the winners. Do I get all of my winning, dont know. I dont keep track. I have thought about it but just never did. Maybe next year we should keep track more closely and then we know who pays and who doesnt.

DMV, you explained yourself and I accept your explaination. Unfortunately, I don't have everyone's e-mail address. Even if I did, it isn't my responsibility to prod each and every individual. There is an implied consent that all will honor their debts. Seems like a good percentage of players are willing to receive but not give. Again, I'm not aiming this at you. For 2 seasons, I have sent out my end each and every week! Now I shouldn't be offended when others don't do the same? Bullsh*t!

I guess I misunderstood the whole concept of a pool. I really believed that everyone that owed cigars should and would actually send them! I only wish someone would have clued me in sooner that I was out of line. Or that my expectations were unrealistic. Thanks, I'm done now.

The fricken post office doesn't deliver on SUNDAY!!!!

Ever hear of a 14 day cruise? Subtract THAT from your timeline. Excuse Christmas and New Year's week, as I didn't do a damn thing except nurse a cold and hold up an infirmirary, and that brings us to the job! Everyone running around with the flu goes to where?!? The hospital! Guess who had to work 6 12 hour back to back shifts? Then there's the last point, and I stress; after all that I really did forget.

Now do me a favor and choke the life from your mailman for not delivering YOUR package overnight when I didn't pay for overnight service!

Have fun next year.

I think there is misunderstanding here.

DMV, I don't think anyone is getting on your case for the speed of the USPS. I think everyone knows you are one of the respected memebers of this board. I don't think Xrundog meant any disrespect either. I hope no one gets anymore angry at each other.
