I wonder what these guys are going to think when they find out it's three cigars instead of five, and they paid $13 over retail for them! LOL

It is a 5-pack. If you type "Gurkha" into the main page search.....you will also find 3-packs. Usually says(3) next to it. if it is listed in 5-pack section, ya get a 5-pack. Whoever wins that pack of 5 Platinums, enjoy em'....they're great!

I bought a five pack of these two weeks ago! They come packaged in an envelope of three. Thats how they're retailed on CI. I overbid, thinking I was bidding on five, when it was three, my invoice said five. Before I started raising hell about it, I reviewed the rules, and they are not responsible for typos. I've been there done that. Trust me they are ALL three packs! My bust, I should've realized they aren't going to send a pack and two thirds out. That caused me to severely adjust my max bid on these. But you are right about one thing, they ARE great cigars! :)

Clive, even if they are not responsible for typos, if they sold you 5 of them then thats what you should have received. I would send them an email, I have heard how reasonable they are when it comes to sorting out problems :)

or at least they should give you the option of accepting it or taking it off your bill since it was mis-advertised

Clive,
I stand corrected if that was your experience, and would talk to Trish. If the fine print restricts you from the 5 that is says you would recieve, Thank You for puttin the word out.

I was gonna email Trish, but then found the caveat regarding the typos, and figured that it was probably a waste of time. Trish and the rest of the folks at Cbid have always treated me right, and I saw on CI that the retail pack was three, so I should have put two and two together. I guess it's the great service I've recieved up to that point that made me decide to blow it off, and be more careful in the future.

This strikes me as a mistake far beyond the meaning of "typo". Does the fine print we agree to mean we have to accept winning 25 cigars just to find out, sorry, they meant "5"? They do not appear to excuse bidders' typos of this sort.

And this "typo" has existed for a while and they haven't corrected it yet? Anyone requesting satisfaction on this deal should receive it. MHO.
