Remember the mantra...Blood for oil! That's what Iraq was all about about wasn't it? Just keep waiting for the .99 drop per gallon once that wacky Iraqi free oil starts flowing like water here!

How about diminishing our dependence on oil. I'd love to tell OPEC to take their oil and shove it. We need leadership that is aggressive in promoting non-petroleum energy sources. But leaders who are obligated by oil companies are incapable of pursueing such a policy. (Guess who??)

Democrats who wont allow any oil refineries, nuclear power plants, or drilling in anyones backyard maybe? Tree huggers who refuse to allow us to utilize what we have in domesticly until we develop alternative fuels to a commercialy viable state?

*raises hand* voted democrat all my life.

i'm very pro-domestic oil and pro-use-what-we-have. we CAN drill for oil on our own land without totally trashing the planet. we CAN seek alternative fuels -- aggressively -- in the meantime.

that's what i see lacking in our leadership for the past many, many years, though -- balance.

life is very rarely a case of everything or nothing, but politics in general tries to make it all look that way. is it simple? no. but we're not a nation of simpletons either.

i say screw the red tape holding this country back and let's send up some leadership -- locally, statewide and nationally -- who represent the best and brightest and who will LISTEN to this country's best and brightest-- not the lobbyists!

Squeeze play on the citizens of the world. I guess they need the money to buy more nukes to sell to terrorists.
