I saw on another board that the editor said the 5 Vegas line has gone out of production and that they are now on closeout. Can anyone confirm that? Thanks. Steve*R

Nope, it's going strong. We order it by the tens of thousands and is one of our best sellers.

Steve, did that editor also talk about how expensive this brand was during the BOOM? and how they stopped making this brand rather than using sub par tobacco? Was that product rolled by a "cigar legend"? I think I read that guy before also...

Isn't it the 'vintage' line that is no longer in production?

Yes, the Vintage line was discontinued. I recall that the raw cost for the Vintage boxes alone - empty - from Nicaragua were something like $9 each.

Here's what the editor, webmaster wrote on the other BBS in two posts: "Cinco Vegas are a dead boom brand - used to be made in Esteli.I guess one man's trash is another man's treasure... these never did anything for me." I, personally, have boxes of both the Vintage and regular lines in a couple of sizes. I'm pleased that they are still in production. Steve*R
