I hav an Idea for a stand-up humidor, about the size of a "Verona". I am considering using cabinet grade plywood, and 'A' grade millwork for the trim. I was considering lining it with styrofoam insulation, and lining THAT with spanish cedar. I would then need to make shelves and I have sources for the 1/16 and 1/8 cedar planking for the lining and shelves, but could use some 1/4 stock for cleats to use to anchor the shelves. I have considered these auctions, but the prices usually go beyond what I could get more uniform material for. Other than that, it's a good idea. You could also use them for spacers to keep your cigar boxes off each other in your coolerdor to allow for improved airflow, and more even RH distribution! :)
