Some of you are going to get the chance to smoke a 60 year old Cuban cigar. I recently learned that cbid has obtained 1 box of Gurkha 1940 Series Pre-embargo Estate Cuban Double Coronas. Made with 100% Cuban tobacco, these have the taste that the $300 cigars do on Christy's, and they won't cost that. MSRP is $25 a cigar. I sell these, and all of the customers who have purchased them have been very impressed and happy with the purchase even with the cash layout. I know that the 1940 Series is all but gone now, so it is going to be a get em while they got em deal.

Save your money for Perdomos and Mayorgas. These are 60 yr old dog rockets. You don't want to bid on these.

Not to be negative, but I already have several Monte #2's, Cohibas, Partagas that are all ISOM. 4 or 5 Bolivar Torps and I would just as soon spend my $25 on something else! Charlie

Do you know how many Perdomo cigars you can get for $300!!! How can you beat a Perdomo? I actually like them better than most Cubans! Sorry Fuente, Ashton, and Partagas, but the best brand out there top to bottom is Perdomo. 'Nuf said.

Hokie ... guess you've never tried an AF Anejo's, or the UTS, BTL, actually, any of the Hemingway line, the Don Carlos, the Sungrown Cuban Beli (blackfoot), or the OpusX'es.
Excellent cigars, IMHO ...
