I hope there's some accuracy to this one. Remember there was considerable chatter about zeroing in on Saddam before we grabbed him out of a hole too!

is this a british newspaper? I heard about a story that was in some sort of newspaper from a crime and criminals board I belong to and the newspaper is known for its "colourful" stories - until I see it on one of the news networks such as fox, msnbc, cnn, abc, cbs I'm not going to believe it - trust me I want to believe it - will be dancing in the streets when it happens

if he's there... then they'll get him dead or alive...

I feel it would be pointless to take him alive and risk the lives of so many of our Finest doing so.. just zoom in with the Satilites to where we've got facial expresions and drop the load... a large part of that 10,000 ft mountian would be leveled and then send in the DNA specialists.... to cover the ground of 9,000 ft left of that place!!!!!!!

News comes in all shapes and forms. It's not contained to 4-5 outlets. While it would be more "credible" if everybody was carrying the story, don't discount it. Everyone scoffed at Drudge for the Monica story and dragged him through the mud, but when a stained blue dress materialized...he's become a go to source of information.

I just got nervous when the "colourful stories" was mentioned. I'm not into "colourful stories" anything

First Hussein then Bin Laden. Such a thing would make Dubya two-for-two. Don't hold your breath waiting for the "Dateline" special. The "major media" outlets don't want to publish anything like this story because it would make Dubya look good. And nothing would hurt their overt efforts to derail Dubya than to be forced to report that Special Forces units captured Bin Laden. Even the rumor of such a thing would hurt their Kennedy surrogate, Kerry.

as I said - I would love nothing better for this to be true! I knew people who lost their lives in the twin towers on 9/11 not only for that reason but for our nation, for our world.

Aint that the truth! I've heard rumblings of an "October surprise" that would make it sound like the whole OBL capture was a big "Photo OP" type scenario for Dubya! Factor in the Draft thing the Dems are going to try to push to make him look bad, is there NOTHING that they wont use as a partisan political football????? It seems that national security, education, medical benefits, whatever are just things to try to get the White House back! I especially liked Gore talking about the dismal conditions of education, and how Bush was gonna make it worse..... He and Slick Willie had control for eight years, and for the first TWO, had a Democrat Congress! What did they do with that? NOTHING! Because a solution would eliminate the issue, and they want the issue to beat the Conservatives over the heads with! They want to go on record as voting to allocate money to 'study' the problem, finance University research into the problem, but they will stop any attempt at actually SOLVING the problem, because then they don't have the ISSUE to run on!
