I can't believe some people .
As some know , i'm in the process of a semi-forced move ( i could have stayed if i didn't mind the smoke smell...not ! ) .
but when you go to have your services moved from one place to another !
i called AOL to cut off my service since i went to highspeed broadband i found i just use it and go directly to yahoo. AOL is a great service , but if your not using it....you don't need it ! and with having to streamline my resourses for a while i found i couldn't afford digital tv and internet service from one provider "and" AOL . i just found the two diferent companies were costing me way too much.
so i called AOL to discontinue ,man they try thier darndest to keep you ( i got two free months now ) but in the end i told them to stop taking payments as of the first . they try anything...i was going to quit once before and got 3 months free service ...just to try thier Broadband...and i did like it...just couldn't afford to pay twice for getting online ! the digital tv on demand and a external modem for highspeed cable hookup was actually too much but i do like the cable service.
so i decided to drop AOL and i did !....but i still got a couple months free. it's amazing how easy that one person that you talk to can just push a button and you get a couple of months free !!
makes me wonder if they have friends or family somewhere that might have free service for as long as they work there !?! out of the past year i paid for about 7 months due to the bonuses and free months.
" wee'll give you this month free so you can maybe reconcider leaving us." is what they said
