I second that. I can't get myself to listen to this guy but what he said is true. "ITS ONE THING FOR A COMPANY TO DETERMINE IF THEY ARE GOING TO BE PARTY TO IT. ITS ANOTHER THING FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO DO IT."

That company is only in it to make money. If they really cared about what was put on the radio, they would have never put Stern on in the first place.

Be STILL my beating HEART!!!! RICK, agreeing with RUSH! LIZ MARK THE CALENDAR!!!!! I agree that alot of the Patriot Act crap scares the crap outta me. I've never said Bush is perfect, but in some ways he is incredibly short-sighted. I beleive Bush is basically an honorable man, and that his motives are more or less honest, but what happens when we get another Clinton, or Nixon in office, who aren't bashful about perverting the system to use as a weapon to use against their political enemies. Nixon used the FBI to "investigate" his opponents, The NRA was against Clinton, and for every year he was in office, the IRS did a thorough audit of their books! How would YOU like to get audited EVERY year? How would YOU like having your phone tapped without a court order because you supported the opposing candidate, and thus were "suspected of terrorist connections" thus not needing a court order, or probable cause!

I just took a look at what Rush said.
I have never listened to Stern and have no interest in doing so, but the choice should be there for those who want to listen. And lets be honest, Clear Channel wouldn't have canned him if it wasn't for the fear of huge fines from the FCC.

I think there is a distinction between something like Stern where there is an expectation of vulgarity, and the superbowl for example.
If the expectation is that the show you are about to watch is suitable to watch with your kids then it should be suitable. I have no objection to a naked breast, far from it. However those folks with kids should be shown a little more respect.

Now lets bring on Maui's troupe of international dancing sheep :^)

I think the biggest fraud in this is Clear Channel. They ban Stern yet they play all the requested top 10 hits with lyrics that would make you cringe. You got girls in these lyrics telling people to lick their little man in the boat, girls talking about drinking milkshakes, guys talking about pulling girls clothes off, guys and girls talking about oral sex. They don't consider that stuff offensive though. I just don't get it.

Lots of finger pointing and all of this over Howard Stern and his sick humor that pales when compared to the average rapper and Hip Hop artist!
