Greetings to all, I am Tim aka "Kornazoo", from Philadelphia. I'm looking forward to the CB Event in May! Not exactly a newbie, been smoking cigars for over 20 years, but seriously for 10 years. I am a Fuente fan,(but not yet an Ashton fan)..Thanks to all for your posted advice, it's been a great help!

Ya gotta try the Ashtons! They are MADE by Fuente! I don't know what size gar you prefer, but until a few months ago, I tried to keep it to the Panetela/Corona range. Ashton Panetelas were my favorites, and the only $100+/box gar I bought more than one box of! I'll drop that statistic as soon as I can order another box of Gurkha Aged Cameroons! LOL

Tried Ashton Puro's, and Ashton VSG....just didn't do it for me...Aa I have a good local source for Ashton, I feel I should try their Maduro. Thanks for the warm welcome, Tim BTW, CigarBid has really broadened my cigar experiences, with both samplers and 5 packs that I wouldn't usually try..w/ great results...like Torano, Gurkha, etc...

Welcome. Try the VSG again. the first one I had severely disappointed me. Every one since then has been fantastic.

Also try the regular Ashtons, very mild straightforward cigar.

i wonder if you sometimes chuckle over the problems that guys on this board seem to have. we are both cigar people for about the same length of time and when i read about some of these problems, i don't understand them myself.

i am not being smug, but i have never concerned myself with humidity, that's why when PG was discovered to be effective, my humidity problems were solved permanently. and perhaps i am lucky, but i have
never seen any sign of beetles, mould, or plume.

i, and i'm sure the rest of us, would welcome any suggestions or advice you can offer.

lurk no more, i look forward to any of your posts.

i'm a bigtime fuente fan so it's no wonder i also love ashtons (classic is the only one i've had, but it's enough to know they're grrrrrrreat! heh).

i'm also a major, major toraƱo fan -- totally different tastes, but both are top-notch in my book.

anyway, welcome to the board, and with 20 years of experience, some of us will be picking your brain! :)
