i agree with you. did you read the entire article?
the question to be decided is was it consentual.
if it was at the time, and remember she booked his bodyguards at the other end of the hotel, as far away as possible from kobe. she seems to have been setting kobe up for a fall that would lead to a civil suit against him.

if that is the case, i have no sympathy if she, pardon the pun, gets nailed as an extortionist.
