My boys are on a 4-6 year old team. Mine are 3 and 4, so they are the littlest on the team.

Mike was batting, hit, ran to first and they threw him out. The coach was screaming "Throw it Home" to the 1st basemen, who was daydreaming, so Mike took the ball out of his glove and threw his teammate out at home.

It was pretty funny.

Ok I used to coached baseball for a number of years, and I am trying to figure out how the heck to score that one LMAO.. Great story. I like watching them play, they have night games and I grab some coffee, head down one of the sidelines and get to smoke a gar while the other parents all panick about how their superstar is doing :)

My son's 7 and he moves up to peanut this year. I helped coach t-ball his first year and coached last year. Even though we practiced running bases every practice, I still had one kid arrive safetly at first - then turn, walk into the dugout and sit down. I had the same kid hit then take off to third base. One of the most funny, however, had to be when the kid in front wasn't running fast enough (or maybe was asleep on 2nd base) so the other base runner would just pass him up.

My daughter loves t-ball. She always wants me to pitch to her instead of using the T. She can hit fairly well she's been playing since she was 4.

It's funny, there aren't really any rules or scoring. Every time the ball gets hit, the whole team swarms over to where it is, but no one knows what to do with the ball when they get it.

It's really funny and fun to watch.
