I won a 5 pack of these and when I lit one...I thought the wife's cat had relieved itself on the floor next to me. Major ammonia aroma. Gonna let the rest sit for a while. Has anyone else tried these? Todd

yes, they make it sweet to try to cover up the at best so so taste, I think these are the ones with the sweet tips are they not? Not much flavor, I don't care for them.

I didn't notice any sweetness mixed with the cat urine. But I do agree they might only be so so without the ammonia.

I think that 'Flor De' means 'sh*t of' in spanish, I have never smoked a cigar where the name started with 'Flor De' that didn't tast like sh*t.

what about Flor De Farach and Flor de Copan? I think these are two above average cigars.

Flor De Copan is above average?...Ugh...No flavor whatsoever...Flor De Farach is OK, but not much better IMHO.

Actually, other than the aformentioned Oliva's, I believe the Spanish "de" translates directly to "sweepings"...

hey aberdeen, I think you were thinking about Carbonel, not flor de carbonel. Carbonel are sweetened. Yuck... Ron
