I used to own a contract packaging company. We did all kinds of differnt packaging for a lot of defferent companys. After I sold it, they got a job that involved a whole truck load of cigars. They were hired to remove the cellos, put on a cohiba ring, put the cellos back on, put them into cohiba boxes, and put on the various labels and stickers. My wife, who was still helping out there, got me one of the cigars and it sucked. I have never bought a cohoba since as I don't know if it is real or not. cj

I have found two things about Cohibas. 1) They are overpriced 2) They are inconsistant as hell! Maybe this explains why they are so inconsistant!

Thank goodness we weren't talking about ISOM Cohiba's.

I had the 'real deal' awhile back that was the best cigar I've ever tasted ...

Did you report this to the police? No wonder some brands are "inconsistent."

The project went through the shop pretty fast and I was no longer the owner or allowed access to the building. I wasn't sure who I would report it to, and if they would take me seriously or even care. In retrospect I guess I should have tried. cj

If there's one thing I can't stand....When you ask someone what they like to smoke and the automatic response is Cohiba, especially a Cuban! That dweeb, who wouldn't know a Cohiba or any other cigar for that matter, if it hit him in the face, should be beaten with a stick!

Todog, you are right to the point, and you are right there are dweebs and warts smoking cigars that don't know the difference between Maduros and Natural! "Gee, I like the dark ones" or "I don't like the black ones"! And what is scary is the fact that they are bidding on some of CB's offerings, that is why you gotta know the values and what they should go for! Off the soap box, for now. Charlie

I have a puros indios chief we can beat him with. (i gave a moocher a hoyo/punch second recently and asked him "can you tell me what it is?" the question was to determine if he could tell the difference between the seconds and an "original" the answer I got was something to this effect: "well its tobacco, I mean not flavored. I dont think its cuban. Its good though." I though good thing I have several "bundles of .50 to .75 cent cigars for the moochers.

I once gave a "friend" a nice HDM Excalibur and he proceeded to eat half the f**king thing! I yelled and told him cigars are NOT a food group...for Christ's sake! I now give him Slim Jims and tell him to admire the spicy oily wrapper.

Bud, dont you just hate it when a guy takes one of your cigars and bites the cap off the damn thing and then clamps it between his teeth and plays with the cigar then lights it and continues to chew on the your gift cigar like it was a piece of jerky?!??! That is what the el cheapos are for! Or try Red Man or Beechnut if they want to chew on tobacco! Rick, sorry, I like Dreyers Strawberry Shortcake or Old Fashioned Vanilla Custard! That makes up a food group! Charlie

drool, oral fluid absorption. All these are part of a good smoke. If your cigar is dry after an hour your way too anal

Don't want to sound like a cliche but, my gawd, is there a better cigar than a ISOM Cohiba? The box I got in the Dominican Republic last year is incredible. Burned my fingers so many times trying to get every last bit. Like candy...
