Eric is at his best here. If you love the Blues, get this CD. Reminds me a leittle of Muddy Waters

while I bought this cd and yes Eric is finally not so wussy anymore, I recommend buying the complete works of Robert Johnson. Even with Eric Clapton playing them, Robert Johnson songs could never be covered properly.

I too am enjoying this fine recording. And yes, Mr. Johnsons complete recordings are awesome, but Eric Clapton does a fine job, just not the same. I do enjoy Eric Claptons renditions just as much, just different.

This is a good cd. Maybe not as good as the originals but good none the less...
