Howdy folks! Well this time it's off to the APAC region. Anyone here ever been or know of a few great places to hang out? I am looking to smoke some great cigars and eat great food.

I leave on the 22nd and spend a few days in Wellington, NZ and then fly over to Sydney for the rest of the week. I will either fly to Melbourne or drive there over the weekend. I'll work there for the whole week and head out on the weekend back to Sydney for the flight back home.

I know it's a crazy schedule but that is the job sometimes. Any cretaure comforts like good smoke and great food would be appriciated.

Oh, and if y'all want something from there, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Drop me a line at [email protected]

i jest. australia will not allow birds to be exported. all the parakeets every where in the world came from australia when exporting was not banned. they were all green birds.

australia has a bounty on birds like my gamine. you can be licensed to kill them for bounty, but you can not export them. crazy isn't it.

Oh man, I envy you, you will have an awesome time there, my mom is from Syndney, aunt is from NZ, I went both places in 85. I recommend going to the fish and chip shop on the corner in front of Manly beach, having the scalloped, fried potatos, fresh fried fish (you get to pick from like 20 different kinds) and a big bag of cooked prawns, then just take it to go, sit on the benches near the beach and enjoy!! You will have a great time, the australian people are wonderful folks.
