Just smoked the PERFECT small cigar. The Arturo Fuente Short Story!!!! If you haven't tried these, they're a must!!!! The ash and the taste were truly amazing. Everything about this cigar was unbelievable. This is what Santa should put under everybody’s Christmas tree.
Buy them buy the truckload.

Paul, I will take Padron 3000, LaGloria Wavells, 5 Vegas Torpedos, Indian Tabacs and a host of other "manly" cigars over cigarillos! Just my opinion, but I do not care for the small guys! Charlie

I agree, they are flavorful. As an alternative, try the Don Tomas Camaroon Perfecto #1, same size and shape, slightly different but still very flavorful.

YES to the LGC Maduro Wavells. You've got to add La Luna Maduro Fuerte Coladas to the list! Also, Hoyo Rothschild dbl-maduros.

They're nice, but I feel that they are nothing more than an expensive rip-off of the Biaritz Coffee Break small perfecto...

on my drive to work, I have a 15 minute cigar, either the Macanudo Ascot or the Royal Jamaica Bandito, very small and mild cigars, very pleasant in the morning when my senses are starting to wake up.

merlyn: forget these guys, they are jealous. all the hemmingways are class acts from the short story to the masterpiece. shirt stories used to cost about a buck and a half, curley heads (scrap short filling from hemmingway quality leaves)were six bits, and the masterpiece, one of the few cigars i would be willing to pay about $16.00. of course it helps to sell the box for about $20.00 in ebay.

At just under $4.00 apiece, this cigar may not be for everyone but you'll never be disappointed when smoking a Hemingway. No commit on the Biaritz "Coffee Talk" cigar. That subject has been beaten to death in previous treads.

Charle ... an AF Short Story is NOT a cigarillo. It is indeed a truly fine work of art (no wait, that's the WOA, a Short Story on steriods)

I suggest you try one ... you won't be disappointed!

Also ... try the Biarritz Coffee Break ... very tasty!

merlyn, welcome to the Darkside :) charlie, what planet are you logging in from? The Hemingway Short Story is not a cigarillo. Slim, good suggestion on the Biarritz. miamibum, Don Tomas is a dog rocket (EXCEPT for the Dominican Selection). tailgater, way to fan the flames ;) Mr. Mean, you stay out of this ;) aberdeen, don't EVER admit to smoking a Macanudo (even if you do ;). RICKAMAVEN (hurt my eyes when I type that), you're right about the Hemi Masterpiece, worth the $$. merlyn, under $4 a piece!? Where do you live, in FL? The cheapest I can find them in NY is $5 (damn 20% tax!). --None of the suggestions are comparable with the Hemingway for taste. I've never had a Hemingway I didn't enjoy.
It's late and I'm cranky, goodnight. :)

Hegemonic, I live in Texas but buy my Hemingway’s from a reliable Internet site in Pennsylvania. Right now they have the Masterpiece cigar selling for $124.95 a 10 pack and the Short Stories for $106.95 a box. The S.S. are on backorder but it usually takes only two weeks for delivery. At $106.95 they are slightly over $4.00 dollars apiece. I've seen them selling for as low as $98.95 but cann't remember where. If anyone is interested in the web address let me know. Paul
