MACS, obviously Bill W is a mutant highbred of William Jefferson Clinton and George Herbert Walker Bush. Oh and I guess you would have to throw in a thong wearing sheep… at least for Bill…

fgruben,

Pardon my ignorance and stupidity. I just did a search on the “friends of bill w”. My comments were not meant to be a knock on anyone (except Bill C. & “W”). It was a stupid attempt at humor. I have a knack for inserting my foot firmly into my mouth. Congratulations on your anniversary. My father is celebrating his tenth.

I know what Robby's thinking

How could some one have such a left wing first name like Bill (AKA Willy)
And a right wing last name like W (aka Dubya)

Its just like Crossfire all in one person's name!!!!

Congratulations... (I get it now, thanks to Dave's link).

I am on a self imposed hiaitus... over two months so far. Never really thought I had a problem with it, but the last time I drank I managed to make a complete ass out of myself (i.e. telling the Captain of our ship that I didn't care if I made Master Chief or not, after taking food off his plate), so I thought it best to quit for awhile. Lucky for me, he was VERY cool about it and basically just laughed at me.

Congrats. Took my last drink January 9, 1987. Those who have gone before you know what an accomplishment it really is and how hard it can be. Bill W would be proud. Keep it up. One day at a time my friend, one day at a time.

Congratulations. I am one of the lucky ones who can take or leave it, and I mostly leave it, but my mother and maternal grandfather both suffered with it. Some of my best friends are AA, and a better bunch of guys you'll never meet. Their only vice these days is they don't smoke cigars.
