To all my friends at CBID I wish to extend the a most sincere and heartfelt thanks. My Marines have received several packages and the cigars and health and comfort items are fantatstic.
However, you've never seen anything that touches the heart like the tears in a full grown mans eyes as he reads a letter of encouragement from a child he has never met over 6,000 miles away.
My Marines are hard, they have seen the horrors of combat, but beneath that they are sons, brothers, and fathers. You have strengthened their resolve and made this period of hardship and family seperation endurable.
