As I will be rooting for Smarty and hoping he wins I don't see it happening.

I guess your not familiar with the curse that was placed on all Philadelphia sports. The story goes like this, some years ago a retiree from Tampa Bay came to Philly to watch the Bucs play the Eagles and got into a major argument over a beer he purchased, he claimed the 1/2 inch head of foam was too much foam, and push came to shove and he was tossed out of the stadium.

Well as the man drove back to Tampa he decided to have a curse placed on all Philadelphia sports and stopped in New Orleans. He went to a voodoo priestess by the name of Madam Dbguruska and had her place a curse on all Philadelphia sports, thus the beginning of the infamous "Close But No Cigar" curse.

A good example of the curse at work would be when the 76ers played the Lakers for the championship. Everyone knows the 76ers should have beaten the Lakers in 4 games but instead the Lakers beat the 76ers in 5 games.

So you see I hope he wins but then there's that curse !
