Yea, this is awesome. I've seen it a couple of times before but it still moves me every time.

Thank you to all those serve! I appreciate your sacrifice. Risking your lives. Leaving your families. Leaving your friends. Living in harsh environments. Sacrificing wealth. And most importantly, being ready to do violence on my behalf so that I don’t have to do all of the above. Most everybody goes through life doing everything possible to avoid conflict and your job is to go find it. Thank you.

Too long.

Boring and trite.

Fourth rate production at the URL.

And...

WWII is nothing like the war in Iraq. Iraq is a poor, third world country that hasn't invaded anyone. Germany was trying to take over Europe and more.

What's the point of this silly slideshow? The person who did it should be embarassed about using the holocaust victims as part of propaganda for the Iraq war. That is SICK.

I support my troops efforts to rid the world of terrorism. I understand what terrorism in all it's forms. I understand that Iraq was a rogue nation that is picking itself up off of the gutter and into the arena of Democracy. I can see the links that connected Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Syria, Iran, Palestine and Lebanon. I understand that their mission to rid the world of their kind won't be an overnight victory. I understand the art of warfare and know that the Iraqi army was well trained and well armed to wreak havoc but hid and created the greatest military achievement in history. I know that there will be casualties to our servicemen. I know that if the Iraqi's and Afghan people want democracy that we gave them the same foothold to obtain it that we offered to Germany, Japan, Italy and to any country that wants us. I also understand that diplomatic efforts to resolve issues in this region of the worl will ultimately fail due to the nature of the terrorist mindset that has been allowed to pervade those nations. I will never badmouth or talk ill of anyone that has the convictions to do the right thing despite public outcry and demonization of character.

It's a shame that most of the left has completely forgotten the images of 9-11 and the events that were allowed to go unanswered. Those events led enemies of peace to believe that we were weak. That we were lazy. That we would just pull up and go home when they showed us little resistance. That we would still sit across the table and jibber-jabber with them like they were responsible elected officials that could reason with common sense and not blind hatred.

Thanks for the link. I got the message.

Wilco...Out.

JohnR, the war over Kuwait is long over. Wake up. Bro, it is the 21st century. Kuwait was invaded...when?

DrMadVibe, feel free to make sense. Or address my point: how does this have to do with WWII.

It is a disgrace to associate those two events.

Amazing.... I'm going to do my best to ignore mhpd's response. He'll never understand anyway and just wants to start fires.

Yo mhpd:

Hitler started WWII in 1939, which was what you used as an example.

Saddam invaded Kuwait 8/2/1990 @ 2:00 a.m., which was what I used as an example.

I have a question for you. Are you related in any way to CigarBid db ?

MPHD, it's a disgrace? How?

The way I see it (and many history books too!) is that in both instinces American soil was attacked prompting US armed forces to react with unwaivering knowledge that they were being called upon as a last resort and to finish something that we didn't start.

It's a pity that your hatred for this war on terror blinds you from the cold reality that the world WILL be a better place without these rogue nations and their veiled terrorist thugs carrying out their ambitious attacks against freedom around the world.

If you have some different opinion on this please share. I would like to know your references and viewpoints as to why you feel they're not the same? So far; my mind is pretty much made up as to who will get my vote. Nader and Kerry don't even rank when it comes to the defense that this nation needs right now.
