I'm sorry AVB, did I have to serve in the military to address your 30 point post ranging from the economy to Bush's 1970 something drunk driving charge? You're not afraid to discuss with me are you?
I threw my first choice out. And you bit, so here goes, can you cite an example of how the president has "wandered aimlessly?" with his economic policy?
First off, your point in the post said, "·I shattered the record for the biggest annual deficit in history."
Let’s take this for what it is. How big is the deficit? How much bigger is it than the previous biggest?
Ok, now let’s express it in terms of GDP. For instance, let’s say 10 years ago, you made 20 thousand dollars a year, and had 1 thousand dollars in credit card debt in that same year. So you’re debt to income ratio for that year would be 5%, right?
Ok, now let’s assume that last year, you made 50 thousand dollars and created 1500 dollars in credit card debt (stay with me please). So your debt to income ratio last year would have been 3%.
Now here’s the 64 thousand dollar question, in which year was your defect actually higher? Well it depends in how you express it doesn’t it? Technically 1,500 is > than 1,000, however, equally as accurate and more realistic, 3% is less than 5% is it not? And in reality, given the scenario illustrated here, which debt would you be more concerned with? 1,000 on a 20K income? Or 1,500 on a 50K income? Answer honestly PLEASE! And also, please don’t be offended by the logic of my argument. The “real” answer is that Bush has not run the highest deficits in history, they may be the largest dollar amounts, however, it’s word play as I’ve just illustrated above, do you agree with my premise?
