hey all I am looking for a little help, and I thought I just put it out and see if any of you guys have had experience with this. I have a VHS video tape. The quality isn't the best. I want to find someone to help me edit it and change to to beng a didgital file. I have a DVD Burner that I would like to be able to save this file to.

Just so no one thinks that I'm a pervert it's a copy of my wedding video. That I would like to be able to clean up and save in a nice format as an anniversary present. I would be wiling to repay in Cigars or whatever medium is prefered...

Nac.

i think almost anything can be done to clean a tape and copy it to a cd, but i suspect the equipment is not readily available and the labs that can do it would probably charge more then the cost of wedding.

enjoy what you have, when you get as old as i, your eyes won't be able to see the difference.

Dazzle Home to video works great!

I have an external 120 GB hard drive and memory to make this scream, but a typical Windows XP machine should be enough to make it work well. Instructions are easy to follow...cost me about 79 bucks for the adapter and software bundle.

Good luck!

DrMadd gave the same answer I had. Excellent way to do it.

If you are looking for a professional clean up and transfer to digital. There are hundreds of places that do just that. We use a place locally that does just that.

As a matter of fact, we had several hours of commercial format video transferred from video to DVD's and CD/ROM for a TV news story on Reagan's Inaugration. The cost wasn't much more than $100. Just look under "video production" in the phone book and make some calls. Many of those places have time on their hands between production and do it for a nominal fee.

I have the model 80.

It turned videos of my children into safe relics. I was afraid the VHS tapes would degrade due to the humidity. I almost had the wife talked into a safe room. I would line the walls of a room with only Spanish cedar and control the room with humidity. When she saw Dazzle I got the; "oh look you don't have to go to the expense of creating that room...just buy this!"

**sigh**

I did that with old home movies years ago, they were even either broken or spliced poorly. Hired a good company, and made copies for everyone in the family as their X-mas presents that year.

Also - If you don't get some serious action for doing that, nothing will work! :-)
