Well now I'm feeling left out, I haven't seen Finding Nemo. Oh well, guess I'll never know now about it, at least not from here!

Good advice about your posts. No offense (really), but I do ignore most of your posts. At least the ones about the same old topic anyway.

Yeah intent has a lot to do with the punishment.

I catch my wife sleeping around and run the guy over with my car and kill him vs I'm driving down the street and some guy isn't paying attention and walks in front of my car and hit him and kill him. In both cases the guy isn't any less dead. But the facts and intent are looked at.

I think that is the deal with hate crimes. In my mind If a guy is sleeping with my wife and he is black and I kill him it is NOT a hate crime even though he is black and I'm white. But the problem I see with this kind of law is that because we are two different races someone could say I killed him because he was black and therefore it is a hate crime. When in fact it didn't matter if he was black, white, russian, jewish or gay I would have killed him anyway because he was sleeping with my wife....although I doubt a gay guy would sleep with my wife.

I really appreciate the offer for the movie, but in all honesty I was only joking about it. I have heard that it's a good film, but at this point I don't have much interest in it (many more movies in order before it that I want to see, just have to find the time to watch them first!).

Thanks again though, nice offer.

428cj, Rick IS a generous botl, but he's also an acquired taste. You either hate him or like him. However, I think that if you get to know the gentleman, you'll like him. Maybe I'm warped.

I tend to be more conservative than Mr. Maven but I often find his slant on things interesting. He stimulates the circulation and helps prevent hardening of the forum. Read his posts under your doctor's guidance. LOL

BTW, I don't read all his threads either- unless I have leisure time to access a pipe, reading monocle, my monogrammed Dr. NO smoking jacket, and oh yes, a large can of Fosters.

PS: BTW, I'm not going to pile up on Robby, except to say that I don't remember seeing this side of him when I first began to post, but I've had my "moments" too...
