Oh yeah nothing better to do than waste $11.00 on a lopsided liberal documentary made by pablum pukin michael "gimme food" moore.

A little known fact: michael "gimme food" moore is the illegitimate son of baghdad bob.

so nice to hear responses from two intellectuals whi have studied both sides of an issue and both arrive at the fact that moore is overweight.

i know the republican agenda, if you can't attack the message, attack the messenger, but you are suppossed to attack his ideology, not his appearance.

the drums go bank, and the cymbals clang,
and the horns go toot, toot, toot

it blew all competition out of the water opening weekend, and rotten tomatoes gives the best summary of both paid reviewers and the movie public.

not just for this particular movie, but for all movies. if they don't have information about a picture IMBD is also a good source.

these are not political reviews.

only the ignorant few on this board will ignore anything that they even think might test their convictions.

even though rotten tomatoes does not review movies, the site simply lists reviews, the same ignoramuses, will now hate that site, because it showed that 87% of the reviewers and public liked the movie.

fortunately for the country, their are enough sensible people with the brains to separate fact from fiction to prevent the return of w to his overblown prominence as "the world leader" and all around danger to democracy.

but they have hope. their is still the matter of the paper less voting machines made by diebold, a major contributer to w, and a declaration of martial law by the loonybin ashcroft, is not beyond the realm of possibility.

be ever alert.

No overweight director has ever produced anything of value... look at Alfred Hitchcock and Peter Jackson (the Lord of the Rings trilogy). Oh wait... better criticise the art then the artist, but I think I'll wait until I see the movie first instead of attacking the appearance of the person who made it.

Yours,
Sheila

Hmmmm... comparing michael moore to Alfred Hitchcock and Peter Jackson is like comparing a cockroach to a butterfly or better yet a liberal to a Conservative.

After viewing his previous garbage, I cannot believe anything that this rich, self-loathing, hateful propagandist has ever produced. He makes Oliver Stone look honest.

He also stole the title from Ray Bradbury & probably made up everything else.

I want dubya out of office--with no help from this creep.

you take the high road and i'll take the low road,
and we'll both get w on the road to oblivion together.
and me and my true friends can smoke and relax again.
as democracy returns to one and all,
except the native americans, of course,
and we shall live in peace and harmony, once more.

For all you guys,
Who will not see this movie, because it is a M.Moore production. I will see this movie. I will also see the movie coming out against Moore. I have learned, over the years, to not be blind, to the opposite point of view. If you do not know, what your oppositions arguement is, however flawed it might be, then you cannot put together an effective counter arguement. If all you are going to do, is namecall, though it is the easiest arguement, you will turn off the fencesitters, and push them in the direction of your enemy, who is putting out an arguement, even a flawed one. My father, who was in politics for several years, gave me the best advice, on debating. First learn your side of the issue, very thouroughly, then learn your opponents arguement, better than they know it. Then, and only then, will there be a clear concise victory.

I've got no argument with that line of thinking, 'brew ... other than I'd prefer to learn MM's argument without having to buy a ticket or pay a video rental, either of which adds money to that scum's pocket ... which I adamantly refuse to do

if someone who is not jewish, wishes to convert to judaism, the rabbi instruct them to first learn the religeon they have been brought up to believe in, thouroghly. then and only then are they able to make an informed, intelligent choice to leave their faith and learn about a new one.

your logic about learning your side and then the "other" side has precedent that goes back thousands of years and still holds true, except of course, the ignorant that happen to agree with you, but don't really know why.

your's is the wisest choice.

i didn't point my finger at anyone in particular.

but when someone choses vulgarity instead of substance, or reviews a person, by his body, and not his work, i see ignorance.

what do you see?

slate has a pretty even-handed review of F911 (www.slate.msn.com or some such)

i'll watch it -- on video. if rick will tape it for me. :D

seriously, though, i'll watch a show (or read a book) by or about people who i consider to be "ideological enemies" for one simple reason: "keep your friends close but your enemies closer."

moore is, to some folks, just such an enemy. so word up.

it showed that 87% of the reviewers and public liked the movie.

No it shows that 87% of the reviewers and public that saw the movie liked it.

I know what I like and what I don't like. I'm not going to waste my time and money seeing a movie I'm not going to like only to say "Yep I was right I didn't like it". I would think lots of others think this way too.

Moore implies in his movie that this is a war fought by minorities. Fact 70% of kia's are white.
I forget the congressman's name that Moore asks about helping enlist the son's of Congressmen and the movie shows the guy just looking at Moore. What was omitted was his answer. It was "Sure, I'll help. My nephew (it was a relative, I think nephew) shipped out yesterday". Moore's clip of Bush talking on the golf course wasn't on the war on terror like Moore implied. He was responding to a question on Palistine. The New York Times, hardly part of the vast right wing conspiracy, said the movie was inaccurate. A documentary, by defination (look it up), doesn't promote a particular point of view. It just presents facts. Moore himself admits this movie promotes a point of view. That make's it, by defination again, propaganda not documentary.
