VICE PRESIDENT HILLARY; SPECULATION INTENSIFIES IN WASHINGTON

Official Washington and the entire press corps will be rocked when Hillary Rodham Clinton is picked as Kerry's VP and a massive love fest will begin!

So predicts a top Washington insider, who spoke to the DRUDGE REPORT on condition he not be named.

"All the signs point in her direction," said the insider, one of the most influencial and well-placed in the nation's capital. "It is the solution to every Kerry problem."

Gee Rick talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

WTF with your "DO as I say, not as I do" attitude?

Here is a quarter, go buy a clue!

I was always taught to respect my elders, but when it comes to you and your logic or the lack there of I can not respect any thing you do or say.

Time has obviously impared your thought processes to where you are now a blithering idiot.

Why are you such a Hitlery supporter? While I agree she is an intelligent woman, she does not know what is best for the country. I thought you were smart enough to know this. Maybe not.

Maybe you should stick to something you know about like cigars. Oh wait, you like Bad Frogs, never mind.

I still don't see Hillary, like her or not, helping Kerry that much. Maybe she'll bring out some people that wouldn't have voted but she'll also bring out a negative vote that wouldn't have voted either. I don't see anyone that was going to vote for Bush now voting for Kerry because Hillary is on the ticket. What does she bring to the table except baggage?

MORE

"There are three issues that this campaign will be decided on -- national security, health care, and the economy, not necessarily in that order."

"Kerry believes that no one is better on national security than he is, he served in Vietnam after all, so he has that covered and the suggestion that he needs to strengthen the ticket with someone who has national security credentials is dismissed as foolish."

The insider continues: "The Democrats feel like health care is the domestic issue. But how to make it the dominant topic of conversation -- break through war and terrorism? Hillary Clinton. She catapults it out front with her commission. She tried to provide health care before and the Republicans in congress attacked her and her husband and used a bunch of scandals dirty tricks to stop it, we know they are scandals and dirty tricks because the former president book says so. So now you have the number two person on the ticket who is a 'health care expert' and what will Republicans do? Attack on health care pointing to her commission saying that it was government medicine. Her response -- it wasn't, and the Republicans are a bunch of dirty tricksters, "Liars and Crooks," as Kerry calls them, and its been too long and Democrats wont let the Republicans do it to them again. By the way, it puts prescription drugs on the back burner, the Republicans health care ace. You will have a fully engaged national debate on health care from now until the election."

MORE

"The Democrats economic plan is to say Bush sucks, it's never enough, we must get back to the Clinton Era when 22 million jobs were created. You can't do much better at making that point then-- Kerry/Clinton 2004.

"But what about impeachment and Monica -- wont that overshadow her being picked? It' now been covered in the book. Not only that, but she is a women scorned who has dealt with what so many American women deal with and stuck it out to keep her family together. And Whitewater? It's in the book. Vince Foster? Book. Billing records, White House travel Office? Book, book. All have been covered. All Republican slime tactics.

"Why would Kerry make such a public spectacle about trying to get John Mccain, wont whoever you pick be considered a second choice. Not if it is Hillary!

"There are differences of opinion about how this election will be won but one school says its all about the base. Republicans are bumping up against the ceiling with support from their base and Democrats are sitting on the floor. This would change that.

"Official Washington and national media will fall in love with the idea immediately letting Kerry/Clinton dominate the news through July and up to the Republican convention. She will say she is doing it for the good of the country. I am convinced this is going to happen."

MORE

"But what Hillary about having to wait to run for president? If Bush wins then she is the nominee for 2008 because it will be all Kerry's fault. If she wins she is the first woman VP of the United States, which would help her become the first woman president of the U.S. It would be historic in its own right and change the nature of politics in this country, and mark her place in the history books for ever-- a different history than her husbands."

This is so moot...
Hillary isn't going to be the Dem VP running mate, but because she's such an object of so much neo-conservative affection, Drudge is obviously stirring the pot. Let's draw some attention to another liberal we can all hate. And the posts on this thread prove the point and purpose of most right-wing journalism, to create hate against liberals. (Isn't that kind of like what was done against the Jews in Germany in the early '30s) "Hitlery", that's so tasteful....

Of course, the Drudge story this is pure op-ed speculation and not substantiated any mainstream news source. But why let facts and truth get in the way of a good story, right?

Don't blame Drudge.

Drudge got the story from a Democratic political hack...most likely from within the Klinton inner circle.

They are already trying to pave the way for Rodham '08 by propping her up as a potential running mate in '04.

Kerry doesn't want her...he knows it would be the kiss of death to have that old battle-ax as his running mate...simply because she is the most polarizing figure in politics today...a Kerry/Rodham ticket would probably receive 10% of the white male vote, simply because white males despise Rodham.

I might also add that a Kerry/Rodham ticket would recevive little to no support among Southern Democrats...another nail in the coffin for John F. Kerry's presidential aspirations.

Anthony, it's not fear it's loathing.

BTW, Madam "It Takes a Village" married a slick fellow who fit both of your categories...

I have nothing against Hillary's socialist ways.
Just hope she gets out of politics and tends to her carpet munching.

I don't fear Hillary, frankly I find her ridiculous and hypocritical to all that she supposedly stands for...That being said I will guarantee you that Kerry doesn't want her as a running mate, no more than she wants to be vice president. I may be giving them more credit than they deserve, but I think they are both smart enough to realize what each other wants and realize that her being on his ticket is a lose lose situation for the both of them. Personally I think that the fact that its even being mentioned that Kerry NEEDS her to win the presidency is a slap in the face to his whole campaign, and while it is certain that Drudge is stirring the pot here, I have heard this kind of talk from some democrats.

Who fears Rod-Ham Klinton? Certainly not me...that must be because I do have a big one!!

I simply despise her ultra leftist, Marxist-Communist political ideology, as evidenced by her recent remarks about repealing GWs tax cuts!!

That being said, I will grant you that she appears to be a "strong, powerful" woman...geez...just look at those Rod-Ham Hock thunder-thighs of hers...she could probably leg-press 1500 lbs.

Then again, her "butch" friends probably like her that way...a nice, wide, strong lower body!!

It done just like the polls.. He takes a small sampling with leading questions. Such as "Are you smaller than a moose?" Then skews the results

It's not so much our own little dicks that make us loathe her. It's her own huge one.

Sorry for the sophomoric response, but when I hear people getting into a ****** sizing contest over political likes and dislikes, well it's just a wee bit more than childish.

When I say "I'm not gay" it doesn't mean I'm a homophobe.
When I say "I don't like hillery" it says nothing of my dimensions. Length nor girth.

I would normally be willing to prove it, but I'm afraid anthony would enjoy it too much.

I don't care in the slightest who Hillary sleeps with, as long as it's not me! I dislike her extremely liberal politics and I don't understand what qualifies her to be President. Less the 1 term as a Jr Senator from New York and being married to an ex-president doesn't sound like much qualification be be the most powerful person in the world.

Brilliant mind, eh? I'd love to see him & dubya play trivial pursuit--could take weeks.
I'd say they both have rentals & the brains will be in pristine condition when they're returned. LOL!

Rick, as far as the former First Lady's ac/dc reputation, you'll see glimpses of it in Gary Aldrich's best seller, Unlimited Access.
Mr. Aldrich was an FBI agent with over 20 years of experience & an impeccable reputation as an honest and thorough investigator.

Hillary had a lesbian roommate at Wellesley College for four years. The roommate, Eleanor Acheson, former assistant attorney general under President Bill Clinton and a current gay liaison for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry, was her college roommate.

Hillary’s other alleged lovers included a younger woman who often traveled with her, a popular TV and movie star, the daughter of a top government official and a stunning model who got a career boost after sleeping with Hillary.

I don't know that any of this is fact, but where there's lots of smoke there's usually fire.

BTW, it's also been rumored that she had various male paramours, Including Vincent Foster. The man who allegedly committed suicide...
Wouldn't you have, as well?
