I want to get some Ashton VSGs but before I invest in them I wanted to know if anyone knows what is the best size?

I second Aberdeen's choice. The robusto would be my second choice, and I would not spend the money on the lonsdale. It does not have the vast flavor of the other two.

I agree...the torpedo or the robusto....you should be able to get one each for what you would pay for a Opus X and it's (IMHO) a much better smoke.

Thanks guys. I was leaning towards the belicoso #1s but I think that I will spend a bit extra and go for the torpedos.

The illusion was like smoking a $10 Cinco Vegas...IMHO.

Very, Very good cigar, but for the price tag, it will not live up to expectations. Sizes mentioned are the right choice, but do expect an OPUS X experience. I think there are better maduros for half the price.

La flor dominicana #3 maduro, CAO anneversary maduro, Perdermo X maduro, The MIAMI rolled La gloria's are a great deal at 2.50 each....let me think and I will come up with some more.

One of many times I have been wrong. The VSG lived up to it's hype and almost it's price tag. One of the best cigars out there.

Realize this is an old thread but I'd have to say sorcerer and the corona gorda.
