Opinions on Sequim in Washington State

A good friend is considering a job opportunity here. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of the area?

For the peninsula it is a dry spot. For the county half the population is from out of state. Steelhead fishing good.

2 hrs from Seattle
quick access to Canada (ISOMS!!) via ferry

many retirees buy plots up around Sequim to kick back

My Grandma lives in Sequim, and it is an overall nice place. Clean, good weather, and isn't far from some of the state's most beautiful parks and beaches.

Very large population of retired people......thousands of motorhomes and Rv's.

Port Angeles is nearby, and the ferry's back to Seattle are only 1 hour away.
