Good afternoon. Cbid seems to always be auctioning some of these to store two cigars for travelling. Anybody ever use these things? I am wondering if they will keep the cigars properly hydrated and if so, for how long? Anybody have any thoughts on this?
Thanks.

I use a few of the 2 and 3 finger cases for hauling a few smokes with me to work or out for an evening. I return unsmoked cigars to thier nest in the humidor when I return home. I wouldn't store smokes in them for any length of time. Barry

I got the metall ones with two tubes in a leather case
and a rubber seal on the top,i think this is a better solution and for shure you're not able to bend them.EOM

They tend to flavor the cigars. See the Ratings thread ....

tailgator: i love the smell of leather and aluminum in the morning. if you want to keep the cigars fresh longer in either case (pun intended if anyone noticed) buy some of the zip locks that are 2" X 8". put your cigars in the zip locks (yes it does sort of look like them) and than put them in you case. the extra drama of opening your case, withdrawing your cigar, sealed in it's own ziplock, opening the zip lock, folding it and putting it back in the case, is an extra bit of cool on your part. i just reread this post and i don't know why, but it seems dirty.
