Good idea for some offenders, but a waste of batteries for sex offenders. They need to be dropped down dry oil wells where they can't re-offend and advance their criminal career until they kill some innocent person after their release. I would rather establish drug rehabilitation clinics for all than spend one-dime keeping one a sex offender alive.

Proven pedophiles should be hung like the sick cowards that they are. They cannot be treated, cannot be helped and cannot guarantee that they will not offend again. No appeals, no legal technicalities. Period.

Sounds like another great idea for the "State" to spend more of our hard-earned tax-dollars for another "progrum" to appease the wishy-washy "all-they-need-is-another-chance" bunch.

i was under the impression they were released into the general population of a prison and the population was informed of the pedophile's history.

pedophiles are truly bad, and unredemable animals.

Unfortunately not, Rick... they're usually put in solitary so that gen pop doesn't rip them apart. Because, after all, they have "rights"...even though they've committed the most despicable crime against our next generation.
