You know, the more I think about this article the more hypocritical I believe it is. The writer only states this because he’s against the war, and that’s his prerogative… however the article really is hypocritical and I believe I won’t be the only one who thinks this. Let’s look at the below quote from the article:
“More to the point, why aren't we cheering a man who is publicly teaching our sons and daughters that in the United States you are free to stand up for what you believe, even if your government doesn't agree? Now that's something worth fighting for.”
The same question could be said about the writer… let me twist the above quote to make my point:
“More to the point, why aren’t we CHEERING THE BASEBALL CROWD who are publicly teaching our sons and daughters that in the United States you are free to stand up for what you believe, EVEN IF THE ELITE MEDIA DOESN’T? Now that's something worth fighting for.”
