Today's Partagas lot is not the first one like this offered. The other one went for over $20/stick. I'm a little worried that we have such deep pockets in the bidding. Still it seems to be the sheer number of cigars I buy rather than how much I spend on them that makes my wife scream.

my wife bought me two of these several years ago. the story was they were found in a warehouse and had been there for years. i don't know what the new story is, but they are not worth $25.00 except as a super, look what i got mom, treat. i know the "winners" will disagree with me, but that's show business.

I had one of these at a dinner in Denver (celebrating a big deal) that was on expense report! They are good, but not that much better than the Partagas Black Label! I will take them for $75 to 85 per box. Charlie

You folks have to realize ... the Partagas 150 Signature Series is a once and a lifetime edition. Created in a limited quantity, they never will be issued again. The Cameroon wrapper was aged for an astonishing 18 years. It is reported that there are less than 10,000 of these cigars left in the entire world ... but that was an old report.

I guess we should show a little respect then. Still, I'm with Geroge Burns who said you must be crazy to spend that much for someting that goes up in smoke. Maybe a few more years of experience with cigars and I'll be able to show more appreciation for the time and craft that goes into them.
